Juicy Chili Burger with Avocado Aioli

Jump to Recipe - Print Recipe

Juicy Chili Burger with Avocado Aioli makes one flavorful burger. Chili powder, cumin and cilantro go into the burgers and the avocado aioli is creamy.

Burger without bun with red onions, avocado aioli and mustard on lettuceJuicy Chili Burgers with Avocado Aioli are a bold and flavorful twist on the classic burger recipe. Made with high-quality ground beef or chuck and seasoned with chili powder, cumin, and fresh cilantro, these chili burgers are tender, moist, and packed with flavor. They’re easy to cook on the grill or under the broiler, making them perfect for summer barbecues or quick weeknight dinners. For a lighter option, enjoy them bunless with a side of grilled vegetables—this keeps them Paleo-friendly and low-carb without sacrificing taste. The real star, though, is the creamy Avocado Aioli. This simple sauce is dairy-optional, comes together in minutes, and adds a tangy, refreshing kick that elevates these burgers to the next level.

Ingredients in Chili Burgers-

Ground Beef or chuck for the base of these burgers. You can substitute ground turkey thigh- I’ll tell you how to keep the burgers moist with the turkey. These can even be made vegan with black beans, also instructed in the printable recipe.

Fresh cilantro- Add more or less to your liking but the freshness of the cilantro pairs well with the spices in the burgers.

Chili powder- The amount of chili powder in the recipe doesn’t add any heat (you can add more if that’s what you want), but adds a nice smoky flavor to the burger.

Cumin- The earthy, almost citrusy notes in cumin always compliment chili powder.

Salt and Pepper- To taste for the ultimate finish.

Ingredients in the Avocado Aioli-

Ripe avocados, fresh lime juice, mayonnaise, Greek yogurt or sour cream mix together for a creamy delicious aioli. Then seasoned with cumin, salt and pepper. This sauce is such a great topping for the chili burgers, you almost don’t need anything else with it.

Grill up some vegetables with the burgers and this is also one easy meal with minimal clean-up.

Why You’ll Love This Recipe

  • Bold Flavor – Chili powder, cumin, and cilantro give these burgers a smoky, zesty kick.

  • Juicy and Tender – Using quality ground beef or chuck keeps the patties moist and full of flavor.

  • Versatile Cooking – Grill outdoors or broil indoors—these burgers come out delicious either way.

  • Healthier Option – Enjoy bunless with grilled vegetables for a satisfying Paleo- and low-carb-friendly meal.

  • Elevated with Avocado Aioli – The creamy, tangy sauce pairs perfectly with the smoky chili spice.

  • Crowd-Pleaser – Great for summer cookouts, game day, or family dinners.

  • Quick and Easy – Simple ingredients, minimal prep, and ready in no time.

Juicy every time, I’ve made these on the grill or in my oven so they can be savored any time of year. Whether you’re planning a summer barbecue, craving a hearty weeknight dinner, or looking for a Paleo-friendly burger option, these Chili Burgers with Avocado Aioli are sure to impress. The bold seasoning, tender patties, and creamy avocado sauce make them a recipe you’ll come back to again and again. Serve them with your favorite sides, keep them bunless for a lighter twist, and enjoy a burger that truly stands out from the rest. These were SO good! We love burgers in our house and have them at least once a week (sometimes more) and this is my new favorite way to have a burger. Your Hawaiian burger is top on my list already but this aioli sauce might bump it down a few slots lol.
