Ingredients in Poppy Seed Dressing
White Wine Vinegar
White wine vinegar gives this dressing a bright, fresh flavor that pairs perfectly with fruit and greens. Rice wine vinegar also works well for a slightly milder finish.
Orange Juice
A small amount of fresh orange juice brightens the dressing without making it overly sweet or citrusy.
Dijon Mustard
Dijon mustard adds subtle flavor and helps emulsify the dressing for a smooth texture.
Onion Powder
A tiny amount of onion powder adds savory depth while keeping the recipe quick and easy.
Light Olive Oil and Avocado Oil
Using a combination of light olive oil and avocado oil keeps the dressing fresh and balanced without overpowering delicate ingredients like fruit and greens.
Poppy Seeds
Classic poppy seeds add texture and the signature flavor that makes this dressing so good.
Mayonnaise
Mayonnaise adds a subtle creamy texture while still keeping the dressing light and fresh.
